From Edhy Prabowo's Wife's House, The Corruption Eradication Commission Confiscated Documents Related To Bribery

JAKARTA - The investigation team of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) ransacked the official residence of DPR member Iis Rosita Dewi, who is also the wife of former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo.

From this search, the Acting Spokesperson for the KPK in the field of prosecution Ali Fikri said that a number of evidences were found. The evidence was immediately secured by investigators.

"A number of documents and electronic items related to this case were secured," Ali said in a written statement to journalists, Friday, December 4.

However, Ali did not specify the documents and electronic items. According to him, the documents and electronic items will be further analyzed by investigators.

In this case, the KPK had previously searched several places. Among other things, Edy Prabowo's official residence when he was Minister of Marine Affairs and Marine Affairs.

From there, the KPK confiscated eight units of luxury bicycles and cash in rupiah and foreign currency totaling around IDR 4 billion. Bicycles and money are also suspected of being linked to a bribery case for the export of lobster fries or seeds.

Then, at the office of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP). As a result, the KPK at that time confiscated rupiah cash and foreign currency whose nominal values were not stated and a number of documents.

Subsequently, the search was carried out at the PT ACK office in West Jakarta on Monday, November 30.

After the search, a number of evidence related to the bribery case for the export of fries and lobster seeds was brought by KPK investigators. As for the evidence found in the form of documents and other electronic evidence, however, the KPK did not give details.

This evidence will be investigated and analyzed by the anti-graft commission investigators and searches at other locations will still be carried out.

Then, on Monday, December 1, yesterday, KPK investigators carried out searches in three places in the Bekasi area, West Java.

The three locations ransacked were houses, offices and warehouses belonging to the suspect bribery Minister Edhy Prabowo, namely the Director of PT Duta Putra Perkasa, Suharjito (SJT).

From the results of a search that was carried out from 15.00 WIB to 00.00 WIB, the KPK found a number of evidence related to this case. Includes evidence of financial transactions related to bribes.
