JAKARTA - The Wuhan flu outbreak, which was caused by the Corona virus, has begun to worry Indonesians. This is because the spread of the nCoV virus is said to be infected from used or imported goods originating from China.

Director General of Disease Prevention and Control Anung Sugihantono asked the public not to worry too much about these items. Because the spread of the Corona virus is not through clothing or food.

"Nope. Nothing, used clothes (don't spread the virus) either," he said at a press conference at the Indonesian Ministry of Health's Building, Jalan Rasuna Said, Kuningan, Jakarta, Monday, January 27.

Anung explained, until now the true transmission of the Corona virus has not been known. However, according to him, the temporary suspicion of transmitting the virus was by direct contact.

"From the air that is near it can also be said as direct contact. I call it airborne, it can droplet. That's why now the urge is shared. For those who are coughing, please wear a mask or if we are close to someone coughing, then we should protect ourselves. , "he said.

Meanwhile, Director of Direct Contagious Disease Eradication Windra Waworuntu explained, until now it has not been proven that the spread of the novel coronavirus comes from food.

"It has not been proven. But it is recommended that if you can eat poultry it is allowed but it must be cooked. That is recommended," he explained.

Based on WHO data dated January 26, the 12 countries are China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, Vietnam, Nepal, France and Australia.
