JAKARTA - The Pati Regency Government, Central Java, immediately evaluated after a five-day trial lasted until the end of October 2022. "We certainly want to see the progress of the five-day trial results until the end of this month, an evaluation has only been carried out. Meanwhile, currently it has only been running for a week," said Pati Regent Henggar Budi Anggoro, in Pati, Tuesday, October 18. According to him, the trial of the implementation of five working days has been considered effective, especially to reduce congestion on the highway. "After continuing until the end of this month, we will conduct a thorough evaluation," he said. At the beginning of the trial, he said, his working hours began at 07.30 WIB to avoid being with students who went to school and employees who entered the office. If they work hours, he is worried, it can increase traffic disruption on the highway. So that with the change in working hours, mutual support each other in efforts to regulate traffic flow. The next test, he said, will be tried with differences in working hours. Meanwhile, special service employees such as health and disaster still run six working days.

Meanwhile, school students at the elementary and junior high school levels are also still carrying out the six-day learning method, although there are several schools that also run five-day trials of school. "We hope that we can optimize and efficiency public services that have been implemented for five working days will not be disturbed. Other areas have even implemented it first, while Pati has just conducted a trial," he said.
