Prabowo's Younger Brother Appointed Hotman Paris To 'Help' Answer Allegations Of Bribery For The Export Of Lobster Seeds

JAKARTA - The famous lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea, was visited by the younger brother of the Minister of Defense Prabowo, Hashim Djojohadikusumo. It can be seen from Hotman's upload on his Instagram social media account on Thursday, December 3.

It was later discovered that Hotman would accompany Hashim to convey the right of reply for some information that offended his name in connection with the alleged bribery case for the export of lobster seeds by Edhy Prabowo.

Based on an invitation that Hotman Paris distributed on his social media accounts, a press conference will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020, at around 13.00 WIB, at Jetski Cafe, Pantai Mutiara, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

"The topic of reply rights related to lobster fry export," read the invitation, Friday, December 4.

Not only accompanied by Hotman, but Hashim will also be accompanied by his daughter, Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, who is also a Gerindra politician.

For your information, this press conference was motivated by the emergence of oblique news that dragged Hashim's name recently. Hasim has often been linked with the case that caught Edhy Prabowo. It relates to the existence of PT Bima Sakti Mutiara, an exporter company that originally exported pearls.

On the Board of Commissioners of PT Bima Sakti Mutiara, there is the name Hashim. Meanwhile, the position of President Director is held by Rahayu Saraswati.

Hashim and Saraswati had previously stated their denial about the oblique news that said their company was involved.

"My family has been in the marine sector for 34 years in 1986. Our first export of pearls was in 1989, 31 years ago. We have been dealing with the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries for decades," said Hashim, quoted from YouTube 'Let's Talk With Sara', December 4.

He said that his company, PT Bima Sakti Mutiara, has no conflict of interest with the export of lobster seeds. Previously, the company was said to have obtained a share of lobster seed exports from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, which was led by Edhy Prabowo, who is also from the Gerindra Party.

"Our family is not like that. We like money, we like money, but the method is not like this. I, my brother (Prabowo Subianto), do not want to destroy our family name," he said.
