Female Drivers Become The Target For Safety Riding Jasa Raharja Training

JAKARTA - Women are not only carried on a ride. Now many of them are driving alone. To improve driving and safety skills on the highway, Jasa Raharja and PNM have held safety riding exercises.

PT Jasa Raharja in collaboration with PT. Madani National Capital (PNM) again held a Safety Riding Training activity for Account Officers of PNM Mekar, which was held at Saka Bhayangkara Traffic Park, Campground Area and Graha Pramuka Cibubur Tourism, on Saturday 15 October.

The Safety Riding training for PNM Account Officers contains training programs in theory as well as good and safe driving methods, especially riding motorbikes, socializing compensation products and Jasa Raharja service procedures, socializing Law Number 33 of 1964 and Number 34 of 1964, concerning the Basic Work of Raharja Services.

The training, which was attended by 100 PNM Account Officers, is expected to have a positive effect on driving and traffic behavior because this PNM Account Officer mostly carries out work activities on the streets and uses a lot of motorbikes.

The Safety Riding ACCOUNT Officer of PNM was opened by the Operational Director of PT. Jasa Raharja Dewi Aryani Suzana with the Operational Director of PT. PNM Sunar Basuki.

Also present were Kasidikmas Korlantas Polri AKBP Danang Syarifudin, Kompol Hambali as Head of Dikmas Polda Metro Jaya, Corporate Secretariat of PT. PNM L. Dodot Patria Ary, Head of Traffic Section of the East Jakarta Transportation City Transportation Sub-Department Bernd Tobing, Head of Jasa Raharja Service Division Hervanka Tri Diarto, Head of Branch of PT. PNM DKI Jakarta Linda Diana, and Head of Jasa Raharja DKI Jakarta Main Branch Suhadi.

According to Dewi Aryani Suzana as Operational Director of PT Jasa Raharja, this activity is one of the efforts to provide education to reduce the number of accidents. Skills and attitude on the road are also very important so that we can protect ourselves and others.

During Semester I 2022 (January to June), PT Jasa Raharja has submitted a national traffic accident compensation fund of IDR 1.33 trillion. This number has increased 15.1 percent from 2021, and increased 3.0 percent from 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic, which was recorded at IDR 1.24 trillion.

Based on data from PT Jasa Raharja, the increase in the amount of compensation was due to the higher fatality rate of traffic accident victims in the first semester of 2022, even compared to the same period in 2019, or before the COVID-19 pandemic.
