Regarding The TGIPF Of Theceruhan Tragedy, Jokowi: Tomorrow Morning Handed Over

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said the Joint Independent Fact Finding Team (TGIPF) of the Kanjuruhan Stadium Tragedy will submit the results of its work on Friday, October 14. The report will be submitted in the morning.

"It will be reported by a joint independent fact-finding team tomorrow morning to me. Only tomorrow morning," Jokowi told reporters in Bandung, West Java, Thursday, October 13.

Jokowi did not want to talk much about the incident at the Kanjuruhan Stadium which caused the death of 132 supporters of Arema FC or Aremania. He is still waiting for the results of the TGIPF he formed.

"I can only deliver it tomorrow afternoon," he said.

As previously reported, TGIPF has investigated the cause of the chaos that killed 132 people after watching the match between Arema FC and Persebaya.

A member of the TGIPF of the Kanjuruhan Stadium Tragedy, Laode M Syarif, said that his party had interviewed various parties to ask for information.

They are the victims, match organizers, Liga 1 operators, associations responsible for managing football in Indonesia, to community organizations or CSOs.

"We have listened to sufficient information from the victim and his family, the match organizers, PT LIB, PSSI, and CSO," Laode told VOI, Wednesday, October 12.

Laode also said that the TGIPF had pocketed supporting evidence that was the material for the investigation. A clear picture of the chaos that occurred after the Arema FC vs Persebaya match in Surabaya on Saturday, October 1, has also been analyzed by the team via video and CCTV at the scene.

"We have also seen field video evidence, from the public and from stadium CCTV, including from APH in the field," continued Laode.

For information, this tragedy not only killed hundreds of people. There are hundreds of other people who suffered minor to serious injuries.

As a result of this incident, the National Police have named six suspects. They include the President Director of PT LIB, Akhmad Hadian Lukita, Chairman of Panpel Arema FC Abdul Haris, and Security Officer Arema, Suko Sutrisno.

Then, Malang Police Ops Head Kompol Wahyu Setyo Pranoto, Head of Samapta Malang Police AKP Bambang Sidik Achmadi, and East Java Police Mobile Brigade Company Commander AKP Hasdarman. They are suspected of violating Article 359 of the Criminal Code and or Article 360 of the Criminal Code and or Article 130 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 52 of Law Number 11 of 2022.

In addition to the six names named as suspects, the police also had time to examine 31 Polri personnel. From these results, it was found that 20 people were declared as suspected violators of the code of ethics.

They consist of four main Malang Police officials, two personnel as supervisors and controllers, three personnel as the party who ordered the shooting of tear gas, and 11 personnel who fired tear gas.
