JAKARTA - A coffee shop used as a liquor warehouse (alcohol) in Menteng Atas, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, was raided by the police. A total of 1300 bottles of various brands were confiscated.

"In total there are approximately 1,300 bottles of liquor that we confiscated. Various types, there are Goura, Arak and others," said Setiabudi Police Chief, Kompol Agung Permana, Wednesday, October 12, at night.

Agung explained that the initial raid began with public reports about a coffee shop selling alcohol.

Furthermore, based on the report, his party and the three pillars followed up on the information. Sure enough, thousands of bottles of alcohol of various types were found. He said that the mode of selling coffee shops was retailed.

"This is used as a gathering that is not useful, which has no facilities and has caused unrest in the surrounding environment. For that we take firm action," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Setiabudi Iswahyudi confirmed that the coffee shop did not have a permit. So that his party followed up until finally found thousands of bottles of alcohol.

There is no definite permit, because they are retailers. Maybe ordinary people don't know anything more. (Regarding sanctions) these bottles will be confiscated, perhaps handed over to the police," he concluded.
