File Delegated, Case Allegedly A Suspension Of Permit Management At The Yogyakarta City Government Is Immediately Tried

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has transferred the case files of three defendants in the alleged bribery case for licensing in the Yogyakarta City Government area to the Yogyakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor), Wednesday, October 12.

The three defendants, namely the former Mayor of Yogyakarta Haryadi Suyuti, the Head of the Yogyakarta City Investment and One Stop Integrated Services Service (DPMPTSP) Nurwidhihartana, and Triyanto Budi Yuwono as the private secretary and aide to Haryadi.

"Today, KPK Prosecutor Lio Bobby Sipahutar has finished transferring case files and indictments with the defendant Haryadi Suyuti and his friends as bribe recipients related to the approval of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk's permit to the Corruption Court at the Yogyakarta District Court," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, October 12.

Ali said that the detention status of the three defendants is currently under the authority of the corruption court and the temporary detention place is still being placed in the KPK Detention Center.

Haryadi is being held at the KPK Detention Center at the KPK's Red and White Building, Nurwidhihartana at the Central Jakarta Police Rutan, and Triyanto at the KPK Detention Center at Pomdam Jaya Guntur.

"For the trial schedule with the agenda of reading the indictment, the team of prosecutors is still waiting for the issuance of the trial day and the determination of the appointment of the panel of judges from the corruption youth clerk," said Ali.

The bribe giver of the case is Oon Nusihono as Vice President of Real Estate PT Summarecon Agung (SA) Tbk.

In the construction of the case, the KPK explained that in 2019 the suspect Oon, through Dandan Jaya Kartika as the President Director of PT Java Orient Property (JOP), a subsidiary of PT SA, applied for a building permit (IMB) on behalf of PT JOP for the construction of the Royal Kedhaton apartment in the Malioboro area.

The construction of the apartment is included in the cultural heritage area in the Yogyakarta City Government.

The request for permission will continue in 2021, where Oon and Dandan Jaya are suspected of intensely approaching and communicating and making agreements with Haryadi, who was then mayor of Yogyakarta for the 2017-2022 period.

The KPK suspects that there is an agreement between Oon and Haryadi, including Haryadi is committed to always overseeing the IMB request by ordering the Head of PUPR to immediately issue an IMB which is equipped with the provision of a sum of money while obtaining the permit.

During the issuance of the IMB, the KPK suspected that there would be a gradual handover of money with a minimum value of around Rp. 50 million from ON for Haryadi through suspect Triyanto and for the suspect Nurwidhihartana. In 2022, the IMB for the construction of the Royal Kedhaton apartment proposed by PT JOP was finally published.

Furthermore, Oon came to Yogyakarta to meet Haryadi at the mayor's official residence and hand over around US$27,258 packaged in a "goodie bag" through Triyanto, as Haryadi's confidant. Some of the money was also given to Nurwidhihartana.

In developing the case, the KPK has also named Dandan Jaya Kartika as the suspect for giving the case.
