Wacana Pembangunan Gedung Pengungbung Banten Di IKN Kaltim, Pemprov Proposal Budannya Rp30 Miliar

BANTEN - The Banten Provincial Government proposed a budget of Rp. 30 billion to establish a banginan as a liaison for Banten in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) located in East Kalimantan (Kaltim).

Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Banten Province, Rina Dewiyanti, said the proposed construction of the Liaison Agency Building came from the Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar, which is planned to be included in the Draft Regional Budget for Fiscal Year 2023.

"About Rp. 30 billion for the construction of a liaison agency," said Rina after the governor's answer plenary meeting on the View of Factions-Factions on the Governor's Introductory Note regarding the 2023 Banten Regional Budget Raperda at the Banten DPRD, quoted from Antara, Tuesday 12 October

Rina explained that the proposed budget of Rp. 30 billion to the Banten DPRD was smaller than the initial discussion of hundreds of billions.

"The budget was not as big as the previous Rp100 billion," said Rina.

According to him, the Rp30 billion budget is planned to build the Banten Province connecting agency office around IKN.

Regarding the land for the Banten Province Liaison Agency in East Kalimantan, said Rina, the Banten Provincial Government has received a joint agreement with the Banten Provincial DPRD in the Amendment to the 2022 budget year, which is currently being evaluated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).

"The land in 2022 is not a one-year budget. We are trying to separate the construction of buildings and land acquisition," explained Rina.

The reason for land acquisition and the construction of the Banten Province Liaison Agency office, according to Rina, is in accordance with the rules and there are instructions from the central government.

"It already exists, through communication and coordination; and this is in line with the national development plan in the context of developing the capital city. This area must support it," he said.

The provision of land for the contact office can be in the form of grants, he added.

"Waiting for concrete directions, whether the shape of the grant or what it will look like," he added.

Previously, when reading the remarks at the plenary meeting, Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar explained that the construction of the Provincial Liaison Agency office was a step of support for the provincial government.

"Regarding the plan to build a Liaison Agency office in the capital city of Nusantara as a form of our support for moving the nation's capital," he said.
