JAKARTA – A two-story house on Pramuka Raya Street, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta caught fire due to a lightning strike. The incident occurred during heavy rains in the Matraman area, East Jakarta, Tuesday afternoon, October 11.

Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers who arrived at the location tried to extinguish the fire.

"It happened when it rained really hard, it rained again. Lightning hit the water, and all of them electrocuted. The water just stung, so no one dared to hold the water", she said.

Meanwhile, PLN officers who arrived at the location immediately handled the electricity flow. Meanwhile, Gulkarmat officers managed to extinguish the fire.
