Drivers Of Expedition Trucks Drowing, Collising Transjakarta Separator To Overthrow

JAKARTA - The expedition truck loaded with goods with police number B 9578 FXV overturned on the Transjakarta bus line, Jalan Ahmad Yani, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, October 11, morning.

The incident occurred when the driver was about to send an expedition goods to a warehouse in the Cakung area. However, when crossing Ahmad Yani Street, the driver allegedly fell asleep and could not control the speed of his vehicle and swerved and hit the concrete separator of the Transjakarta bus line until it rolled over.

According to Parto's statement, one of the eyewitnesses to the incident, there was a traffic jam on the route. Congestion snaked long. The incident occurred when the car was traveling from the left lane.

"Maybe sleepy. So it hit the busway separator. There were no victims, Alhamdulillah," Parto told reporters, Tuesday, October 11.

As a result of the incident, the driver and assistant only suffered minor injuries.

As a result of the accident, the lane along Ahmad Yani Street to DI Panjaitan Street experienced a long traffic jam of up to 3 km.

Meanwhile, the Head of Traffic Unit for East Jakarta Region, Iptu Danoe, said that the incident was purely a single accident.

"The driver was around 4 am driving the truck maybe sleepy and hit the busway separator until it rolled over. Currently it can be evacuated. Thank God there are no victims, nil," he said.

The truck and driver were then taken to the East Jakarta Satwil Traffic Traffic Unit.

"The truck brought some items that we haven't identified. We brought the truck to the office. Only damage to the vehicle," he said.

Meanwhile, the long traffic jams that occurred began from the Halim area towards Tanjung Priok began to decompose after East Jakarta Satwil traffic officers were dispatched to the accident site.
