Flood Locations In Jakarta Due To The Overflow Of The Ciliwung River Added To 68 RT

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) noted that 68 RTs in Jakarta were flooded by the overflow of the Ciliwung River.

The number of RTs that were flooded as of Monday, October 10 at 09.00 WIB increased from the previous three hours.

"BPBD noted that the inundation previously occurred in 53 RTs, is currently 68 RTs or 0.223 percent of the 30,470 RTs in the DKI Jakarta area," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji in a statement, Monday, October 10.

Floods that hit this morning were spread across South Jakarta with 20 RTs and East Jakarta with 48 RTs. The water level is the worst in Bidara Cina Village, East Jakarta, which is up to 2.7 meters.

In South Jakarta, floods hit 5 RTs in East Pejaten Village with water levels reaching 2 meters, 1 RT in Pengaegan Village with water levels reaching 1.9 meters.

Then, 5 RTs in Rawajati Village with water levels reaching 1.6 meters, Kebon Baru with water levels reaching 90 centimeters, and 7 RTs in Manggarai Village with water levels reaching 80 centimeters.

In East Jakarta, floods inundated 2 RTs in Cililitan Village with water levels reaching 2.2 meters, 2 RTs in Cawang Village with water levels reaching 2.3 meters, 15 RTs in Bidara Cina Village with water levels reaching 2.7 meters, and 13 RTs in Kampung Melayu Village with water levels reaching 2 meters.

Meanwhile, there were 16 refugees spread across Musala Daarur Rahman, Rawajati Village as many as 75 people, Musala Al Islah, Cawang Village as many as 30 people, and SKKT RW 11 Bidara Cina Village as many as 11 people.

Rain in Jakarta and its surroundings has also caused an increase in the alert status of the Katulampa Alert 1 Dam or Danger, Depok Pantau Post Alert 2 or Alert, and Manggarai Siaga 3 or Alert Sluice Gate.
