JAKARTA - President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukrainian troops had captured more settlements in Kherson, one of Russia's partially occupied southern regions and claimed to have been annexed.

With Russian troops withdrawing from the front lines in the south and east, President Zelensky said in a late-night video speech on Wednesday, the Novovovoskreske, Novohryhorivka and Petropavlivka areas in northeastern Kherson have been released. October 6th.

Ukraine's forces have recaptured thousands of square miles of territory since early September, including dozens of settlements in recent days.
