JAKARTA - Jupiter Aerobatic Team or The Jupiters is pleased to be trusted to appear enlivening the TNI's 77th Anniversary by displaying various air maneuvers adorning the sky of the Merdeka Palace.

Regarding the appearance of The Jupiters at the Merdeka Palace, the Commander of the Education Squadron 102 Wingdik 100 Terbang Yogyakarta Air Base conveyed a number of obstacles faced by the Indonesian Air Force's aerobatic pilot team during training and appearing at the commemoration of the TNI's 77th Anniversary, Wednesday morning.

Ripdho said one of the challenges was that the Jupiters must be able to perform vertical aerobatic performances in the midst of the congestion of towering buildings in the capital city of DKI Jakarta.

"Especially with the number of six aircraft, this is a challenge for the Jupiters who must be able to spoil the audience's eyes with thrilling maneuvers but safety is maintained properly," he explained.

In addition, uncertain weather conditions and heavy rainfall caused the Jupiters to have to prepare alternative air maneuvers.

"For example, like today, with cloudy weather conditions after it rained, making the area display slightly dim," he said.

However, Ripdho stressed The Jupiters principled that the show must go on.

In the midst of various obstacles, with the skills, preparation, and teamwork of its members, The Jupiters managed to provide a spectacle that entertained the Indonesian people in the midst of the commemoration of the TNI's 77th Anniversary.

"The show must be go on. With the skills, preparation, and teamwork (team work) of the good members (the Jupiters members), we were able to present a very entertaining spectacle for the Indonesian people at the TNI's 77th Anniversary commemoration event," said Ripdho.

In addition to Lt. Col. Ripdho, as the leader or Jupiter 1, Jupiters consists of Jupiter 2 or the right wing of the Aviation Major I Gede Ngurah, Jupiter 3 or left wing Major Perebanger Pujo Setyo Anggoro, and Jupiter 4 Bayu Aviation Captain Anugerah.

Then, Jupiter 5 or lead synchro Major Pembanger Ferdian Habibi and Jupiter 6 or synchro Major Pemberbang Idam Satria. Apart from them, there is also a driver, namely Captain Perebanger Putu Satria Kedaton.

Previously, in commemoration of the TNI's 77th Anniversary at the Merdeka Palace, The Jupiters with six Wong Bee aircraft displayed a number of air maneuvers, such as the Eagle to Arrowhead Loop which symbolizes that the Indonesian Air Force is the protective wing of the country in the air.
