KPK Find Out The Lukas Enembe Flight Route Via Personal Jet Pilot

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that Papua Governor Lukas Enembe often uses private jets to various places. This was explored by the pilot of the RDG Airlines plane, Sri Mulyanto.

Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said Sri was questioned by investigators on Tuesday, October 4 yesterday. He is a witness related to the alleged corruption that ensnared Lukas.

"The witness was present and his knowledge was explored, among others, related to the use of private jets by the suspect LE to various places," Ali told reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, October 5.

It was not specified which goals Lukas took on a private jet. Namin, the KPK believes Sri's statement can shed light on this alleged riot.

Actually, the KPK will also examine RDG Airlines President Director Gibrael Issak. However, he did not show his nose in front of investigators.

Ali emphasized that Gibbrael would be recalled. This step was taken because investigators needed his statement.

"Immediately rescheduled the summons," he said.

As previously reported, the KPK will investigate the origin of the money used by Lukas to board a private jet. This step was taken after the Governor of Papua was named a suspect in alleged corruption.

"We will see if the money held in the account is part of bribery, including the presence of the person concerned abroad using a private jet, who is funding," said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 15.

Alexander said that Lukas often traveled abroad to do treatment. However, the KPK will not just believe it.

They will investigate a number of things, including whether or not money from the Papua Provincial Government was also used by Lukas.

"Does the Provincial Government (Papua, ed) fund to rent a plane to charter a plane for treatment and so on (will be investigated, ed)," he said.
