JAKARTA - The National Police recorded that there were 6 people who died as a result of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy. The six came from victims who were evacuated independently by their families without being recorded at a hospital or health facility (faskes).

As of Wednesday, October 5, the number of victims of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy who died from 125 people became 131 people.

"Adding data on those who died in non-faskes," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed, Wednesday, October 5.

Changes in the data for victims of the Kanjuragan Tragedy after the verification and joint inspection process with the Health Office (Dinkes), the DVI Team and the hospital director.

"Because the team recorded the victim who was taken to the hospital," said Dedi.

As for the details, the number of victims who died based on Antara's report, 44 people in three government hospitals, namely the Kanjuruhan Hospital as many as 21 people, the Bhayangkara Hasta Brata Batu Hospital as many as two people and the dr Saiful Anwar Hospital in Malang as many as 20 people.

Then, as many as 75 victims who died were recorded in seven private hospitals, namely the Gondanglegi Hospital as many as four people, the Wafa Husada Hospital as many as 53 people, the Teja Husada Hospital as many as 13 people, and the Hasta Husada Hospital as many as three people,

Then, there is one person at Ben Mari Hospital, one person at Soepraoen Hospital and one person at Salsabila Hospital.

Also, as many as 12 people died outside of health facilities.

In investigating this case, 29 witnesses have been questioned. They include 23 police officers and six other witnesses at the scene.
