The House Of Representatives Approved 9 Candidates For National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) For The 2022-2027 Period, Atnike Nova Sigiro Became A Leader.

JAKARTA - The DPR RI Plenary Meeting approved the names of nine candidates for members of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) for the 2022-2027 period. In his report, Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives Prince Khairul Saleh, said that his party had completed the fit and proper test of 14 candidates for Komnas HAM members on Friday, September 30. After that, Commission III of the DPR held a plenary meeting on Monday, October 3, and decided to 9 out of 14 names to become candidates for Komnas HAM members for the 2022-2027 period. "The chosen ones are Abdul Haris Semendawawa, Anis Hidayah, Atnike Nova Sigiro, Hari Kurniawan, Prabianto Mukti Wibowo, Pramono Ubaid Tanthowi, Putu Elvina, Saurlin P Siagian, and Uli Parulian Sihombing," Prince said in his report at a plenary meeting, at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Tuesday, October 4. On the same occasion, the DPR Plenary Meeting also approved the former Director of the Women's Journal, Atnike Nova Sigiro, to the position of Chairman of Komnas HAM. "Can the report of Commission III of the DPR RI on the results of the feasibility test for the candidates for members of the National Human Rights Commission for the 2022-2027 period be approved?" asked Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as the leader of the DPR Plenary Meeting. "Agree," replied the member of the council who was present followed by a hammer of approval.
