Still In The Red Zone, JCI Was Opened To Weaken To 6,240.82

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) opened lower on Monday, January 27. JCI opened lower by 3.29 points or 0.05 percent to 6,240.82.

At the opening of trading, there were five stocks rose, 21 stocks fell, and 19 stocks were stagnant. Trade transactions reached IDR 21.45 billion from 6.91 million shares traded.

The LQ45 index fell 0.85 points or 0.1 percent to 1,024.65, the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) index fell 1.01 points or 0.1 percent to 685.3, and the IDX30 index fell 0.42 points or 0, 1 percent to 560.50.

Binaartha Sekuritas analyst M Nafan Aji Gusta Utama predicts JCI today will move higher based on technical analysis. "JCI has the opportunity to go to the resistance area," he said.

According to his analysis, the resistance area will be in the range 6,274.29 to 6,304.05. Even so, JCI also has the opportunity to move in the support area between 6,218.13 to 6,190.52.

Nafan also recommended several stocks on today's trading. Among them are PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO), Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO), and PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG).

At the opening of trading this morning, the stocks that experienced the fastest rising movement (top gainers) included, shares of PT Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (PKPK) rose by IDR 4 or 6.45 percent to Tp66, shares of PT Royalindo Investa Wijaya Tbk (INDO) increased by IDR 12 or 6.06 percent to IDR 210, and shares of PT Mega Power Makmur Tbk (MPOW) increased by IDR 5 or 4.95 percent to IDR 106.

Meanwhile, top losers, namely PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) fell IDR4 or 7.14 percent to IDR52, shares of PT Limas Indonesia Makmur Tbk (LMAS) decreased IDR10 or 6.45 percent to IDR145 , and shares of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) fell IDR 25 or 3.38 percent to IDR 715.
