DKI Deputy Governor Is Positive For COVID-19, All DPRD Members Must Have A Swab Test

JAKARTA - The chairman of DKI DPRD, Prasetio Edi Marsudi ordered all members of the council to undergo a swab test. This was followed by Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patrif who was positive for COVID-19.

All DPRD members have the potential to catch COVID-19. Because, on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27, Riza attended the plenary meeting to discuss the draft APBD at the DKI DPRD Building.

"I require all members, DPRD staff, and other individual service providers (PJLP) to test the swab. We can do tracing when someone is infected," said Prasetio when contacted, Monday, November 30.

In addition, Prasetio has also ordered DKI Council Secretary Hadameon Aritonang to sterilize the DPRD building so as to tighten the application of health protocols.

"We will again carry out the sterilization of the building. Tighten supervision, we all comply with all health protocols, we are strict," he said.

As is well known, DKI Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria was confirmed positive for COVID-19. Riza has been confirmed positive since last Friday, November 27. Riza admits that she is currently in good condition.

According to Riza, based on the results of the contact tracing of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, he was confirmed positive for COVID-19 because he contracted it from his personal staff who previously contracted it from the staff's family environment.

"So, this positive COVID-19 finding is from the work environment, where one of my staff is infected from their family cluster. This is certainly a concern for all of us to maintain more discipline in health protocols even within the family, "he explained.

As of today, one of the buildings in DKI City Hall, Blok B Building has been locked down for three days from Monday, November 30 to Wednesday, December 2.

The closed rooms are Riza and TGUPP DKI workspace on the 2nd floor, Jakarta Smart City on the 3rd floor, and the adjutant room and the health clinic on the PPKP 1 floor.

"During the lockdown period, sterilization will be carried out for three days," said Head of DKI General Bureau Budi Awaluddin.

Then, at this time all guests who will meet the Governor of DKI Jakarta at City Hall must undergo a rapid test. "The guests who will have an audience with the Governor to the Assistant will be conducted a rapid test by the DKI Health Office," said Budi.
