JAKARTA - The Cakung Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating dozens of teenagers from motorcycle gangs who were secured from the Ujung Menteng Flood Canal (BKT) area, Cakung. They are still being questioned intensively.

"Still being investigated, they are suspected to be a motorcycle gang. We confiscated a banner or flag from their group (the perpetrators who were arrested)," said Cakung Police Chief Kompol Sarifah when confirmed by VOI, Friday, September 30, morning.

Until now, dozens of teenagers from motorcycle gangs are still languishing in the Cakung Police Headquarters.

"A total of 14 people have been arrested. They are students," he said.

Dozens of people were arrested after the police received reports from residents.

"When he was arrested, 4 sharp sickles were found on the streets," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a number of teenage motorcycle gang groups were arrested by residents during a brawl in the Sumur Bor area, Grinding, Cakung District, East Jakarta, Friday, September 30, at 02.00 WIB in the morning.

They were arrested by residents because they were furious at the actions of the perpetrators of the brawl. Then the teenagers were handed over to the Cakung Police.

The Cakung Police Chief, Kompol Sarifah, confirmed the arrest of a group of teenage motorcycle gangs who wanted to carry out the brawl.

"(The brawler) was only arrested in the early hours of the morning, is still being investigated and detained at the Cakung Police," said Kompol Sarifah when confirmed by VOI, Friday, September 30.
