JAKARTA - The Indonesian Air Force (AU) will hold a massive military exercise. The plan is for the exercise, titled Angkasa Yudha 2022, to be held at the end of November until early December.

The Commander of the Indonesian Air Force's Doctrine Development Command, Education and Training, Marshal Mohamad Tonny Harjono, said the top training for Angkasa Yudha would be held online or online and directly.

The rehearsal training post is scheduled to take place on November 21-25, 2022. The P2O & Wargaming will be held on November 28, December 28, 2022.

"The exercise was carried out at Seskoau (Kolat) Bandung and at Koopsud I, II, III," said Tonny as Director of Angkasa Yudha 2022 Training in a press statement, Friday, September 30.

When explaining the readiness of the exercise to the Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo, Tonny said the Angkasa Yudha 2022 exercise would involve several units of the Indonesian Air Force.

Those involved include the Air Operations Command (Koopsau) I, Koopsau II, Koopsau III and the Rapid Movement Forces Command (Kopasgat).

"The peak training of Angkasa Yudha, which was attended by hundreds of personnel, aims to maintain, improve and test the ability of the Koopsudnas Operations Implementation Command and its ranks in compiling a plan for joint air operations and Air Task Order on the planned military campaign of the TNI Kogab," said Tonny.

The exercise will carry the theme Kogasudgab, with the implementation of joint air operations to deal with enemy threats in the operations in order to support the main tasks of the TNI Kogab.

KSAU would like to thank the Commander of Kodiklat or as Dirlat, the Commander of Seskoau and the KP team who have prepared well for the 2022 Angkasa Yudha training.

"I have a message that what has been discussed can be used as input in improving the training script and guidelines for the evaluation of previous exercises, with the hope that the Angkasa Yudha 2022 exercise can run well and smoothly," said KSAU.

A number of key officials of the Indonesian Air Force Headquarters were also present at the presentation of the peak of Angkasa Yudha 2022 training, including KSAU Deputy Marsdya TNI A. Gustaf Brugman and Marsdya TNI National Air Operations Command Commander Andyawan Martono Putro.
