LSJ Survey: Prabowo's Electability Has Not Disadvantaged, Ganjar And Anies Stagnan

JAKARTA - The electability of the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, is inseparable ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) contestation. This is what was photographed in the results of a survey conducted by the Jakarta Survey Institute (LSJ) in September 2022. In the survey data presented by the Research Director of LSJ Fetra Ardianto, the Minister of Defense (Menhan) obtained an electability of 31.5 percent. According to Fetra, the results of this survey emphasized that Prabowo Subianto had the highest electability compared to other figures who were said to be running in the 2024 presidential election.

"This result also confirms that Prabowo Subianto's electability has not changed his position at the peak of electability since research institutions conducted a survey 1.5 years ago," Fetra said in an online survey presentation, Tuesday, September 27.

Following the difference that is quite far apart in the second position, there is the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo with an electability of 20.8 percent. While in third position, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan with an electability of 16.9 percent.

"Since the first survey of LSJ in January 2022, Ganjar and Anies' electability has tended to stagnate," explained Fetra.

Furthermore, in the fourth position, there is the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil with an electability of 7.2 percent. Then fifth, the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) of 5.9 percent, then sixth, the Chairperson of the DPR, Puan Maharani, of 3.1 percent. Followed by the Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir with an electability of 2.8 percent.

"Puan Maharani, Agus Harimurti (AHY) and Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir experienced a decent increase in electability compared to previous NGO surveys," said Fetra.

Meanwhile, in the eighth position was filled by the General Chairperson of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto with an electability of 2.5 percent. Ninth, Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno at 1.9 percent and the Chairman of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar at 0.8 percent.

The LSJ survey was conducted in the period 10-20 September 2022 in 34 provinces in Indonesia through direct face-to-face interviews. The number of respondents set out in the LSJ survey in September 2022 was 1,220 respondents. Sampling is carried out using the multistage random sampling method. Meanwhile, the margin of error set at ±2.81 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
