JAKARTA - Indonesia managed to record a business transaction worth Rp. 23.3 trillion from its participation in the 19th China-ASEAN Exhibition (CAExpo) in Narnning, Guangxi Autonomy Area, on 1619 September 2022.

"The accumulated transaction value of Rp. 23.3 trillion was obtained from direct trading (B2C), business deals (B2B), and investment MoU during the exhibition," said the Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun in Beijing, quoted by Antara, Sunday.

In the annual event held in the southern region of mainland China, Indonesia always sets up a bridge.

This year the platform was named the Indonesian Pavilion which stands on an area of 270 square meters, divided into two, namely the Commodity Pavilion covering an area of 180 square meters and the National Pavilion covering an area of 90 square meters.

At the Commodity Pavilion there are several products, such as jewelry, food and beverages, agriculture and handicrafts.

Meanwhile, at the National Pavilion there are traditional arts and culture performances, both dances and gamelan music.

At the Indonesian Pavilion there is also information on the potential for trade, investment, and tourism in Indonesia as well as information regarding the Trade Expo Indonesia which will be held in Tangerang, Banten, on 19-23 October 2022, both online and offline.

On the sidelines of CAExpo, Indonesia is also present in several investment and trade forums, such as the 2022 ASEAN Media Partnership Forum, the RCEP State Trade and Economic Conference, the China-ASEAN Economic Cooperation, Trade and Infrastructure Forum, the China-ASEAN Port Information Forum, and others.

The CAExpo event was held by implementing the COVID-19 anti-pandemic health protocol.
