Information about the existence of Ferdy Sambo's 'career brother' was first revealed by the Professor of Political Science and Security at Padjajaran University (Unpad) who is also a former adviser to the National Police Chief, Muradi.

At that time, he said that Ferdy Sambo's foster brother had considerable strength in the National Police.
