After Being Arrested, The Mayor Of Cimahi Ajay Arrives At The KPK Building

JAKARTA - After the arrest operation (OTT) was held by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators, the Mayor of Cimahi, Ajay Muhammad Priatna, was immediately taken to the KPK's Red and White House.

"Already at K4 (KPK Red and White House, red)," said Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, November 27.

However, he did not specify who other than Ajay was brought. It's just that, he said, Ajay, is being examined by a team of investigators.

Meanwhile, KPK Deputy Chairman Nawawi Pomolango asked the public to be patient first. Because, until now, the team of prosecution is still working to investigate other parties.

"While the team is still in the field. So give time to the team in the field to work," he said.

"The name of this kind of activity is actually secretly and confident in nature, very, very closed," added Nawawi.

Even so, he said the KPK would immediately make an announcement, of course, after the case title was carried out.

"We will convey all these activities through the context, of course after going through the degree process at the KPK," he said.

Previously reported, Ajay was arrested by the KPK in a hand-arrest operation (OTT). He is suspected of committing corruption related to infrastructure development.

"The mayor is suspected of committing corruption in the procurement project for the construction of a hospital in Cimahi," said KPK chairman Firli Bahuri when contacted by reporters.
