JAKARTA - The Regency Government of Raja Ampat, West Papua provided assistance with 500 packages of buoys and vests for tourism actors, both homestay owners and motorcycle taxis.

Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office, Raja Ampat, Lowisa Herlina Burdam, said the assistance was a work safety program targeting tourism industry players.

He said, as many as 300 buoys were given to homestay business actors to be used when using inter-island sea transportation.

"Meanwhile, vests are given to 200 motorcycle taxi drivers who serve tourists in the Waisai area, the capital city of Raja Ampat Regency," he said, Tuesday, September 20, quoted from Antara.

According to him, this program is an initiation from the local government itself to improve performance of having a homestay or motorcycle taxi in serving tourist visits.

Because safety in travel services is very important in the Raja Ampat Regency area. In order to maintain the image of Raja Ampat in the eyes of the world.
