GARUT - The Regional Secretary of the Garut Regency Government, Nurdin Yana, confirmed that all livestock that died due to contracting mouth and nails (PMK) received money assistance from local and central governments.

The Garut Regency Government, he said, is currently re-recording the livestock belonging to the community who died due to PMK to get assistance from the central government.

Head of the Fisheries and Livestock Office of Garut Regency, Sofyan Yani, added that the central government through the Ministry of Agriculture is ready to allocate compensation funds in the amount of Rp. 10 million per head for livestock that die due to PMK.
"From the center, it was proposed that 184 individuals could be compensated for Rp. 10 million per head," he said.
He conveyed that the PMK case is still being watched out for.
