JAKARTA - Two vocational school students with the initials RS and MA in the Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta were arrested by the police. Both were arrested for carrying sharp weapons for a brawl.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Pasar Minggu, AKP Sofyan Suri said the arrests of the two students were carried out at Pejaten Barat Raya, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 20.

Sofyan also said that previously the students were in groups. Residents took a stand by securing the hospital and MA because they were carrying sharp weapons.

Returning to AKP Sofyan Suri, he said the two student parents would be summoned to the police station regarding the examination and accompanying the student.

"(The perpetrator) is still being investigated, the results are not finished. It must be accompanied by his parents, the mechanism must be accompanied by his parents," he concluded.
