JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan stated that he is ready to run as a presidential candidate in 2024 if there is a political party (political party) that carries it. Anies' readiness was revealed to the media in Singapore a few days ago.

However, Anies admitted that until now there has been no political party that has proposed him to be promoted in the 2024 presidential election. Anies' confession was released when he inaugurated the Martha Christina Tiahahu Literacy Park in the Blok M area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Sunday, September 18.

Political analyst and Executive Director of the Voxpol Center Research and Consulting Pangi Syarwi Chaniago assessed that there were already several political parties who were interested in carrying Anies Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election. Among them, NasDem, PKS and Democrats. However, said Pangi, there is no suitable momentum to announce Anies as a presidential candidate. In fact, the three political parties have not even declared themselves a coalition in the 2024 election.

"Actually, Mr. Anies already has a party carrying it, it's just that the momentum of the declaration cannot be ascertained. The political parties still keep the mystery of the names, and those who are interested in carrying him must exist, it can't be there, I'm sure there is," said Pangi, Tuesday, September 20.

Moreover, Pangi continued, Anies' electability in a number of 2024 presidential candidate surveys has consistently been at the top of the three.

On the one hand, Anies is included in the three names of the presidential candidates (candidates) as a result of the NasDem Party's national working meeting (Rakernas), in addition to Ganjar Pranowo and General Andika Perkasa.

"So the potential for NasDem to carry is from those three names," said Pangi.

Anies' name is also inseparable from the communication between NasDem and PKS. Recently, the Democrats have become more intensive and closer by bringing a message of encouragement to the Chairman of the Democratic Chair Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). "Maybe the Democrat as long as there is AHY, there is also a click there. The common point of interest for the Democrats is not grandiose, right. The Democrats support but after all AHY is carried away there," said Pangi.
