SERANG - The Serang Police Satreskrim held a crime scene (TKP) for the discovery of a female baby in a trash can in Tambak Village, Kibin District, Serang Regency on Friday, September 16.

Serang Police Chief AKBP Yudha Satria Through Kasihumas Polres Serang Iptu Dedi Jumhaedi explained that the incident of the discovery of the baby began with a woman with the initials SR (50) looking for used goods in the trash.

Then, continued Iptu Dedi, SR saw a black plastic package tied in a trash can. Out of curiosity he opened it.

But what a surprise SR saw that the contents of the black plastic turned out to be a baby girl. SR raised the baby and immediately informed the village midwife to be given help.

"After checking by the village midwife, it turned out that the baby girl was dead," said Dedi.

"After the PPA team and the Serang Police Satreskrim Inafis team carried out the crime scene, the baby was taken to the Bhayangkara Serang Hospital for medical examination for investigation purposes," said Dedi.

"For now, the case of finding the baby is being handled by the PPA unit of the Serang Police Satreskrim for further investigation," he concluded.
