At His Official Home, Minister Hadi Tjahjanto Was Visited By French Air Force High Officials For Joyful News

JAKARTA - The French government, represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the French Air and Space Force, Lt. General Frédéric Parisot, gave awards to the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto.

Hadi Tjahjanto in an official statement in Jakarta, Monday, said the award was the highest award from France for the well-established cooperative relationship. Especially when Hadi Tjahjanto is still a TNI soldier.

Minister of ATR/BPN Hadi Tjahjanto was given the Commander of the National Order of Merit award from the French government.

Hadi Tjahjanto said previously the French government planned to invite him to receive this medal, but this has only been realized at this time which was submitted in conjunction with the visit of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the French Air Force.

"This good cooperation is in terms of carrying out training activities between forces or education between forces that I used to foster while serving as TNI Commander for four years," said Hadi Tjahjanto, who is the TNI Commander for the 2017-2021 period, as quoted from Antara, Monday, September 12.

Hadi received the award at an official residence in Jakarta, Sunday (11/9), accompanied by Christine Hadi Tjahjanto's wife.

Hadi Tjahjanto and Lt. General Frédéric Parisot were friends when they came to the study assignment at the College Interarmes Defense, France, the VIII class in 2001.

"This Deputy Chief of Staff of the French Air Force happened to be my classmate during my study assignment in France. Even my group friends, so everywhere together they carried out their learning tasks there," said Hadi Tjahjanto giving an impression.
