Apart From NasDem And Democrats, PKS Also Discusss Candidates With Golkar

JAKARTA - Head of Public Relations of the PKS DPP Ahmad Mabruri said that communication with NasDem and the intensive Democrats was carried out by his party to discuss the 2024 presidential candidate (candidate).

"Communication is still ongoing, both with NasDem and with Democrats," said Mabruri, Monday, September 12.

Even Mabruri revealed that PKS is also actively building communication to discuss candidates for the 2024 presidential candidate with the Golkar Party who are members of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) with PAN and PPP.

"With Golkar (communication) also being carried out," said Mabruri. As is known, after the Syura Council (MMS) VII deliberation in Bandung on August 14-15, 2022, PKS decided that the presidential and vice presidential candidates (candidates) held in the 2024 presidential election had three main criteria.

The criteria in question, have nationalist-religious characters, have a great chance of winning, and become a symbol of change for a better Indonesia.

According to Mabruri, the results of the 7th MMS mandated the PKS DPP to communicate with other parties and candidates for presidential candidates who have electability and are in accordance with the criteria.

Mabruri said several presidential candidates in accordance with the criteria for the 7th PMS, including the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan; Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo; and the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil. In addition, there are also Ministers of Tourism and Creative Economy as well as Deputy Chairpersons of the Board of Trustees of the Gerindra Party, Sandiaga Uno; General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartanto; and Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.

"That fits these criteria, Anies Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo, Ridwan Kamil, Sandiaga Uno, Airlangga Hartanto, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono," said Mabruri.
