Three Suspects In The Attorney General's Building Fire Case Propose The Witness To Lighten

JAKARTA - The National Police continues to complete the investigation files for the three new suspects in the fire case at the Attorney General's Office Building (Kejagung). One of them is by examining witnesses who provide relief for the suspects.

Karo Penmas, Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, said the three suspects, among others, are MD who is the top cleaner procurement party, J as consultant and IS who is the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Attorney General's Office (AGO).

"There is a suspect's right, he asked for a witness to provide relief. Currently investigators are examining it," he told reporters, Tuesday, November 24.

After the examination of the witnesses to reduce it is completed, the investigator will complete the filing. So, the investigation file could be delegated to the investigating prosecutor.

"Later it will be proposed to be inserted in the filing," he said.

Previously, investigators had named 11 suspects. Three of them MD, J, and IS were named as suspects on November 13.

Then, on the previous occasion, investigators had named 8 suspects, on 23 October.

Of the 8 suspects, 5 of them were construction workers with the initials T, H, S, K, and IS. They were named suspects for violating the no smoking rule in the personnel bureau hall.

Meanwhile for the other 3, namely, UAM as the foreman, R who is the Director of PT ARM and the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Attorney General's Office, NH.

The assignment of the suspect to UAM was reasoned because he did not supervise the five masons while working. Meanwhile, R and NH were named suspects for making an agreement to use a dash cleaner cleaning fluid which is said to accelerate the combustion process.
