JAKARTA - The West Java Regional Police has confirmed that the personnel who will secure the demonstration will reject the increase in fuel oil prices (BBM), no one will carry firearms.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, explained that there were around 14 points of demonstration by various elements of society.

"The escort does not use firearms at all, so we are really humane," said Ibrahim in Bandung, West Java, Wednesday, September 7, quoted from Antara.

For the city of Bandung, there are two action points; Gedung Sate and the West Java DPRD Building. Then in Bogor City, according to him, there are two action points.

Furthermore, in various other regencies and cities that held actions at one point, namely in Karawang Regency, Indramayu Regency, Subang Regency, Pangandaran Regency, Bogor Regency, Sukabumi Regency, Garut Regency, Sumedang Regency, Cirebon City, and Purwakarta Regency.

Now at a number of points, according to him, personnel have been alerted to provide security. He also hopes that the masses who take action will convey their aspirations in an orderly manner.

"This is a social dynamic that occurs, this policy must also be accepted by the public so that people can undergo better social conditions," said Ibrahim.

Last Tuesday, September 6, a number of students from various organizations held an action in front of the West Java DPRD Building, Diponegoro Street, Bandung City.

The masses began to visit the location of the action at around 14.00 WIB to convey their aspirations regarding the increase in fuel prices. Then the crowd dispersed at around 16.30 WIB and continued to hold the action on Jalan Ir H Djuanda.
