Residents Of Bogor Please Watch, Organdafill Tariff Of General Transportation Impact On BBM Prices

BOGOR - The Land Transport Organization (Organda) of Bogor Regency, West Java, agreed to increase public transport rates in various ways, according to the distance from Rp1,000 to Rp2,000. Secretary of the Bogor Regency Organda, Haryandi explained, the near-distance tariff rose by Rp. 1,000, the distance was increasing by Rp. 1,500 and the long-distance rate rose by Rp. 2,000. According to him, the Bogor Regency Organda was forced to participate in increasing public transport rates due to an increase in fuel oil prices (BBM) on September 3. "We with several considerations, in addition to services to the community, we must not stop at the need for public transportation and must be conducive, so we decided to increase the tariff even though we were forced," he explained in Cibinong, Antara, Tuesday, September 6. Haryandi said the tariff increase was valid for both the Local Urban Transportation of Bogor Regency and Inter-City Dalam Provincial (AKDP) in all areas of Bogor Regency. The tariff adjustment, said Haryandi, applies to around 30 public transport routes in Bogor Regency. "Immediately we built communication in the field so that there would be no gap in time so that we were confused and finally took an unrealistic price increase policy as we directed," said Haryandi.
