PALANGKA RAYA - Hundreds of teachers who are members of the Education Certified Teacher Forum visited the Education Office to the Central Kalimantan Provincial DPRD demanding the return of the education profession (TPP) for certification teachers. The chairman of the forum board, Ronald Valentino, explained a number of demands, namely the return of the certification teacher TPP as in previous years which was eliminated with a nominal value of Rp. 1.5 million. "And strongly reject the TPP nominal cuts to Rp500 per month," he said in his letter in Palangka Raya, Antara, Tuesday, September 6. Then ask for a revision of Pergub Number 5 of 2022 and the revision process does not pass from this September, according to the draft aspirations for certified teachers and PPPK teachers. Furthermore, the TPP payment process starting in January and the forecast does not pass the end of 2022, paying the salary rent until the PPPK THR is not in installments as promised. The position of PPPK in the ASN Law Number 5 of 2014 is the same as civil servants and is entitled to TPP, so that in the revision of the Governor Regulation later that PPPK is included as a TPP recipient. In addition, the Teacher Forum also demands that there be no threats or intimidations against peaceful acts carried out, to urge the Head of the Central Kalimantan Education Office, Ahmad Syaifudi, to resign from his position. The chairman of the Central Kalimantan DPRD, Wiyatno, said that in essence the aspirations expressed by the teachers had already been treated. Until now, there are a number of options that are being discussed at the executive level regarding the demands submitted by the teachers. "So we asked for time to finish this. Everything went through the process and we asked everyone to be patient," he explained. Chairman of Commission III of the Central Kalimantan DPRD, Siti Nafsiah, added that her party was trying to oversee the demands submitted by the teachers. "The first is about the governor's regulation, as well as budget matters. It has become our duty and obligation, if the budget is available, we will do our best to fulfill what we want," he explained. Meanwhile, Head of the Central Kalimantan Education Office, Ahmad Syaifudi, said that this action was a follow-up action that had previously been carried out after the governor's regulation was issued, thus eliminating additional income for educator-certified teachers. "In regulations it is permissible or not allowed. It is permissible to pay but adjusts to the capacity of the regional budget," he explained.
