Therefore, Wibi said that it would be better for the candidate for Acting Governor to be directly elected by President Joko Widodo through the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri). "So, the decision is directly from the central government," he added. However, Wibi asked for a selection process for the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta such as a fit and proper test which was carried out transparently by the central government. Thus, the DPRD and the public can also assess that the selected figure is indeed worthy of leading Jakarta for the next two years. "We still want it to be open. For example, the central government finds the names who are candidates for the Acting Governor. Before being appointed, a track record is given to the public. So, we can judge that this person is worthy," he said. Previously, the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian said that his party had sent a letter to the DKI Jakarta DPRD to prepare the proposal for the replacement names of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan. Later, there will be about six names to replace Anies who will be submitted to President Joko Widodo. In detail, there are three names proposed by the DKI DPRD and three names from the Ministry of Home Affairs. "We have sent a letter to the DKI DPRD, yesterday I signed it.
