JAKARTA - The National Police has decided to impose a dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) on Kompol Chuck Putranto and Kompol Baiquni Wibowo following the obstruction of justice behind the murder case of Brigadier J.

It was later revealed that the involvement or role of the two in obstructing the investigation process was to damage CCTV around the shooting location of Brigadier J.

"The role of BW is the same as that of Mr. CP. It is active to take CCTV. Beating me, eliminating, taking CCTV," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Saturday, September 3.

With this effort to hinder it, the special team (timsus) had difficulty revealing the real facts behind the incident which was referred to as a shootout between Brigadier J and Bharada E.

"Eliminating the CCTV was the hardest so the initial investigation process was a bit disrupted," said Dedi.

In the case of obstruction of justice, the National Police also named five other suspects. They are Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, Kombes Agus Nurpatra, AKBP Arif Rahman, and AKP Irfan Widyanto.

The suspects were charged with Article 49 Juncto Article 33 and/or Article 48 Paragraph (1) Juncto Article 32 Paragraph (1) of the ITE Law and/or Article 221 paragraph (1) to 2 and 233 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
