Ganjar Pranowo Puji Prantu Prateng Scouts Who Have A Role In Helping Handling COVID-19: Extraordinary!

BOYOLALI - Governor Ganjar Pranowo said the contribution of the Scout Movement in Central Java is quite large in helping the community. Many creative activities have been carried out so far, and that needs to be improved by increasing practice in the field.

"There is a lot of participation from Scouts. I think Scouts are extraordinary, it's just a matter of how we move it. Of course the coaches must continue to assist them so that they are adaptive, creative, and innovative," said Ganjar, Thursday, September 1.

Ganjar explained, in the last three years, Scouts' real contribution was seen in handling COVID-19. Scouts descended by helping medical personnel, the community, to vaccination. In handling natural disasters, Scouts also actively move.

According to Ganjar, the good and positive stories that have been done so far can provide an understanding in terms of digital literacy, preventing hoaxes, and inspiring many people. In addition, field practices must also be increased so that the benefits of Scouts are more felt for the community.

"It's good, but we have to practice, plant good but we have to practice it. Now, with that practice, we hope that the benefits will be much more," said Ganjar.

During the ceremony to commemorate the 61st Scout Day, a number of Scout members also received awards. One of them was the Head of the Central Java Kwartir Region, Siti Atikoh. The award was handed over by the Secretary General of the National Kwartir of the Bachtiar Scout Movement, Utomo.
