Finally! After Decades Of Establishment, The Localization Of Mount Antang Rata With The Land

JAKARTA - PT KAI together with the East Jakarta City Government as well as the police and the TNI have brought order to buildings in the Gunung Antang localization which stands on the land of PT KAI, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. VOI monitoring at the location, Tuesday, August 30, as many as 120 illegal buildings (bangli) finally razed to the ground.

The control is closely guarded by the TNI and Polri in the East Jakarta area as well as the Satker Team of the Jakarta-Banten Regional Railway Engineering Center (BTPWJB) DJKA Kemenhub.

The illegal buildings located on KAI land were brought under control by involving as many as 800 joint personnel consisting of PT KAI Daop 1, TNI, Polri, Pol PP, BTPWJB, and elements of the local area.

This control was carried out after going through several stages, including the granting of Unloaded Orders and SP1 to SP3 but not being heeded by residents. Control starts at 08.30 WIB. As of 09.50 WIB, the control is still ongoing.

As is known, PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta has issued a Unload Order on July 14, 2022, then sent SP 1 on August 11, SP 2 on August 16 and SP 3 given August 25, 2022. Control is carried out on PT KAI land with a certificate of No. 388 of use rights in 1988.

The majority of illegal buildings that are brought under control are non-permanent buildings and stand without a permit or illegal.

Previously, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta had coordinated the region and socialized together to the residents of Bangli to vacate the location. Overall activities run smoothly and conducively.

The land located at the location is owned by PT KAI with an area of 2,788.92 m2. With the rights of HP certificate Number 338 of 1987.

PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta appealed to the entire community to comply with existing regulations, and not to establish buildings illegally on the land of PT KAI. The law governing the safety of train travel is contained in Law Number 23 of 2007 concerning Railways.

Article 178 "Everyone is prohibited from building buildings, building walls, fences, embankments, other buildings, planting high types of trees, or placing goods on railroad lines that can disrupt free views and endanger the safety of train travel".

Article 181 paragraph (1) "that everyone is prohibited from being in the benefit room of the railway line; dragging, moving, placing, or moving goods on the rail or crossing the railway line; or using railroad lines for other purposes, apart from train transportation."

The violation of Article 181 paragraph (1) is in the form of imprisonment for a maximum of 3 (three) months or a maximum fine of Rp. 15,000,000 (fifteen million rupiah) as stated in Article 199 of Law 23 of 2007.

PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta will continue to collaborate with the relevant regions and agencies to make efforts to realize the safety of train travel and maintain the environment around the clean and safe rail line.
