PAN: Erick Thohir Has A Good Character And Trace Record As A 2024 Presidential Candidate

JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) has chosen SOE Minister Erick Thohir as one of the presidential candidates to be promoted in the 2024 presidential election. One of the functionaries of PAN Bara Hasibuan assesses that Erick's figure who has a good track record in the business and government world is the reason PAN is that PAN is good at advancing Erick's name as a presidential candidate in 2024. "The track record in the professional world, government, and business as well as a strong character that makes PAN choose Erick as a presidential candidate," Bara said in a statement to reporters, quoted Monday, August 29. Bara considers that figures like Erick are needed by the Indonesian people who are competing to face trade battles on the global stage. In addition to having experience, Erick is considered to have technical plans that can lead Indonesia to face challenges in the 21st century. "Erick has a good track record in professionals and in the business world. He has an entrepreneurship spirit of which all of these are the characters needed in facing the challenges of the 21st century," Bara said. Erick's successful track record in the business world and government is inseparable from his courage in taking policies. This is mainly related to cleaning up BUMN. All of these things, said Bara, made PAN unable to carry Erick's name as one of President Jokowi's potential successors. "Erick is a brave man. Even since he was young he had dared and was able to compete on the global stage by buying world clubs such as 76ers and Inter Milan," Bara said. Bara, who has known Erick since he was a student, admitted that he really knows Erick's strong fighter character. This is coupled with proven performance not only tested on the national stage, but also in the international community. "I've known Erick for decades.
