There Is A Replacement, A Free Old Version Transjakarta Card Can Still Be Used

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is changing the free Transjakarta service card from the old version to (mifare) with a new system.

The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, through its Instagram account, said that during the change period, old cards could still be used by Transjakarta customers.

"The old version of the free Transjakarta service card can still be used by showing an old card or card replacement letter from Bank DKI," wrote the Instagram account @dishubdkijakarta, quoted Monday, August 29.

Meanwhile, customers who want to change their Free Transjakarta cards can make changes to 5 Transjakarta bus stops, namely the Kwitang Bus Stop, Jelambar Bus Stop, Cawang UKI Bus Stop, Kebayoran Lama Market Bus Stop, and Permai Koja Bus Stop.

"Replacement of cards at five bus stops can be done from Monday to Friday at 09.00-12.00 WIB," he wrote.

In addition, card replacement can also be carried out in the parking lot of the Juanda branch of Bank DKI, Matraman branch, and the Matraman Sharia branch on Monday-Friday at 8.00-17.00 WIB.

As is known, the free Transjakarta service program can be accessed using Jakcard Combo and TJ Card which have been running since November 2016.

The people who are entitled to this free Transjakarta service are the DKI Provincial Government civil servants and their retirees, the DKI Provincial Government contract workers, KJP owners, Rusunawa residents, as well as the PKK mobilization team.

Then, free Transjakarta cards can also be used by the elderly, people with disabilities, owner of a prosperous family card, owner of a Thousand Islands ID card, mosque administrator, educator and PAUD education staff, and larva monitoring interpreter.
