JAKARTA - PT Transport Jakarta (Transjakarta) has temporarily suspended the operation of the Velbak Bus Stop, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, which serves the Ciledug-Tendean (Koridor 13) route. The cessation of Velbak bus stop operations will take effect Monday, August 29, 2022.

Head of the Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Division, Anang Rizkani Noor, stated that the closure of the bus stop was carried out as a result of the construction of a pedestrian bridge (JPO) connecting the Velbak Bus Stop with the Kebayoran KRL Station, South Jakarta.

"For customer convenience and security, we do not operate the Velbak Bus Stop for the time being," said Anang in his statement, Sunday, August 28.

Anang said, for customers who usually do activities at the Velbak Bus Stop, they can still use Transjakarta services through the Kebayoran Lama Bus Stop and Mayestik Bus Stop.

"Transjakarta still asks to continue to comply with all applicable rules," he said.

Previously, Transjakarta extended operating hours until service time on the Cibubur - BKN (7C) route. This policy is effective from last Saturday, August 27.

With this extension, the Cibubur - BKN (7C) route will operate from 05.00-22.00 WIB from previously only operating during peak hours.

In addition, this route will serve customers every day from the previous one which only operates on weekdays.

To enjoy this service, customers are still required to do the tap in and tap out process either through the Tap on Bus (TOB) or gate tools available at the bus stop at a regular rate of Rp3,500.
