LPSK: Bharada E Never Shoots People, Brigadier J Becomes First Shot

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) stated that Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E had never shot anyone even though he had been assigned to Poso, Central Sulawesi (Sulteng).

"Bharada E has never shot anyone. So this is the first shot at a human," said LPSK Deputy Chairman Edwin Partogi in a meeting with Commission III of the DPR at the DPR building, Senayan, Monday, August 22.

"Although he has served in Poso as a terrorism patrol and served in Manokwari, he has never shot anyone," he continued.

Edwin revealed that Bharada E only got a gun in November 2021. Bharada E is said to be not in the category of members who are proficient in shooting.

"Bharada E also just got a gun, namely in November last year. Bharada E is also not included in the first class classification category or marksman," explained Edwin.

Due to this fact, Edwin said, LPSK could not accept the initial scenario of the shooting at the shelter of the former Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Sambo, on 8 July. Moreover, Bharada E was assigned to be Ferdy Sambo's driver, not an aide.

"So, we cannot accept Bharada E's consistency regarding the first version of the story, because later we also discovered the fact that Bharada E was assigned as a driver, not ADC," explained Edwin.

Edwin said that Bharada E also did not have personal problems with Brigadier J. Because as Bharada E said, Brigadier J was a confidant of Ferdy Sambo and his wife.

"The relationship between Brigadier J and Bharada E is not a personal problem, then according to Bharada E, Brigadier J is a confidant of FS and Mrs. PC," said Edwin.
