Gambir Station And Pasar Senen Serve PCR For KAI Customers Who Haven't Been Boosted

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta provides RT-PCR test services at Gambir Station and Pasarsenen Station for prospective passengers who have not been booster vaccinations, to support the government's policy on safe and healthy long-distance train travel (KAJJ). the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The RT-PCR test is at Gambir Station with operating hours starting at 06.00 to 22.00 WIB and Pasarsenen Station from 05.00 to 22.00 WIB at a cost of Rp. August 21.

Eva said that prospective passengers who will carry out the RT-PCR test at the station are required to show a ticket booking code and bring an identity card such as an ID card with the results of the fastest 8 hours from the sample taker.

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta appeals to prospective passengers who will take advantage of the RT-PCR test service at the station to arrange a test time or carry out an H-1 test before the scheduled departure.

"If at the time of checking at the station the passenger has a positive result, then they are not allowed to continue the journey and the ticket can be cancelled," he said.

The following are the complete requirements for travel using KAJJ and Local which are valid from 15 August 2022:

1. Long-distance train ride requirements

Age 18 years and over

a) The third vaccine (booster) does not need to show a negative result of Covid-19b screening. The second and first vaccines must show a negative result of the 3x24 hour RT-PCR test. negative RT-PCR test 3x24 hours

Age 6-17 years old

a) Second Vaccine must show second dose vaccine card/certificate without showing negative results of Covid-19 screening from a government hospital and negative result of 1x24 hour Antigen test/ 3x24 hour RT-PCR c) Travel from abroad that has not been vaccinated must show negative result of 1x24 hour Antigen test/ 3x24 hour RT-PCR

Age under 6 years old

Vaccination is not mandatory and it is not required to show a negative result of Rapid Antigen Test or RT-PCR, but there must be a companion who meets travel requirements.

2. Requirements for boarding local and agglomeration trains) Minimum first dose vaccine is not required to show a certificate of negative Rapid Test Antigen or RT-PCRb) Not/hasn't been vaccinated for medical reasons, must show a doctor's certificate from a government hospital c) Customers aged below under 6 years old is not required to be vaccinated but must have a companion who meets travel requirements.

KAI has also integrated the KAI ticketing system with the Peduli Protect application to validate vaccine data and customer Covid-19 test results.

This data can be directly known by KAI at the time of booking tickets through KAI Access, the KAI website, and at the time of boarding.

Customers are also required to wear masks while traveling on trains and at stations.

To put forward the health protocol for all departing service users, they are also given a healthy kit in the form of masks according to standards and hand sanitizer when on the train.

At the time of boarding, prospective passengers will also go through a body temperature check process because all departing passengers are required to have a normal body temperature, which is no more than 37.3 degrees Celsius.
