Private Jets In Dubai Laris Ordered For The 2022 Qatar World Cup, British Supporters For Aviation Messages For The Final Party

JAKARTA - Private jet companies in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) are flooded with orders for leasing from football fans ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, including orders for British supporters who believe their national team qualified for the final on December 18 in Doha.

The rental of private flights is in demand by supporters in Dubai, who want to fly in and out for a month of tournaments, starting on November 20.

ME Jets, a company operating from Dubai World Central, provides a luxurious experience for families, groups and individuals who want to travel to Qatar in a styling manner.

At a price of 1,750 euros, the experience is not cheap, but does not prevent fans from experiencing World Cup fever from buying airline seats. Meanwhile, commercial flights are also available, the price is only a third of private flights.

Interestingly, supporters of the UK National Team have so far been the most, booking flights for the final on December 18. That's for VIP aircraft with 64 passengers, where the majority are ordered by British supporters.

"We have sold all tickets for the final, which is very good, and three-quarters of tickets for semifinal tickets," said Amy Spicer, Managing Partner of ME Jets.

"Most of these orders came from British fans, who I was quite surprised if England didn't make it to the final," he said.

"We feel the price will match the middle class individuals who can't afford or want to pay for exclusive private jets, but who are willing to pay a little more for a more enjoyable experience."

"From the private terminal, it is also faster. It seems that many people want to go to the World Cup final for experience, regardless of whether their country qualifys or not," he said.

So far, ME Jets have earned a Boeing 737, a private aircraft with 64 business-class seats, a Global 6000 jet with 16 seats and a 750 Hawker with eight seats, for a round-trip flight on the same day during the World Cup.

Daily flights will depart from the private FBO Jetex terminal at Dubai World Central, or another name Al Maktoum International Airport.

Passengers can check-in at a private terminal at Dubai South airport and have access to a separate departure waiting room

So far, most of the bookings have come in a group of 15 people or more.

Outside of the final, Spicer said Britain's match against the US in the group stage became the most popular, with half of the flights already sold. Both teams are known to join Group B, alongside Iran and Wales.

Thomas Mold, a financial trader in Dubai, will fly to Doha to watch England play against the US with his father David and his friend Luke Wilson.

"We all went to the Russian World Cup together, which was a great experience," said Mold, who is from Essex, who has lived in the UAE for eight years.

"Because of the hotel situation, both because of the absence of rooms and the high price, it makes sense to get on the plane and come back," he said.

"There's a big group of us. Of the 63 people or more, I know at least 20 people there."

"The best thing is not to wait at the airport, it's much more comfortable, because it's very close. It's great to have a World Cup in front of our door."

ME Jets flights will depart four hours before kick-off, back three hours after the end of each game. Passengers must arrive at the departure terminal half an hour before scheduled departure.

Mold booked a ticket via FIFA voting and will join other British fans aboard a private chartered plane, for the match against the US at the Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday, November 25.

While he doesn't have tickets for other games yet, he hopes to join fans for the final stages of the tournament.

Meanwhile, David Mold's father has tickets for all three English group matches and will travel on private jets, for each match.

"I will stay in Dubai with my son as long as England are in the tournament and will fly for every game. I have participated in every tournament with England since 1990 in Italy, so I can't miss Qatar," said Mold.

"I have committed to private jets for every group game and the last 16 game of the knockout phase. It will be expensive but commensurate, I'm sure," he said.

Although commercial flights to Dona can already be ordered, with the addition of schedules to anticipate the surge, those who are able to prefer private travel.

It is known, according to industry specialist Sojern data, flights from across the Middle East to Qatar during the World Cup, have increased by more than 4,000 percent since early 2022.
