Kemenkopolhukam Visits West Java Police To Supervise The Murder Case Of A Retired TNI In Lembang Allegedly Due To Parking Locations

BANDUNG - The Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs directly supervised the investigation into the murder of a retired TNI soldier named Muhammad Mubin (63) who was stabbed by the shop owner with the initials HH (30) in the Lembang area, West Bandung Regency, West Java. West Java together with elements of the TNI AD and the Army Retired Association (PPAD) oversee the legal process so that it runs transparently.

"The Military Police Kodam (Pomdam) III Siliwangi and the Association of Retired TNI AD (PPAD) will participate in assisting and guarding the process of investigating this case," said Arif at the West Java Police, Bandung City, quoted from Antara, Friday, August 19.

After attending the presentation of the case from the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the West Java Police, according to him, the facts on the ground and the statements of the witnesses had been presented as they were. According to him, the murder committed by HH occurred spontaneously. However, according to him, the police still need to explore several other possible criminal cases in this case.

In this way, he asked the public not to be provoked by unaccountable information. He ensured that in this case there was no inter-institutional conflict. "Because there was unilateral information, he said the family was approached by certain parties to accept (the gift), it turned out not to be like that," said Arif. In that case, a retired TNI named Muhammad Mubin died as a result of being stabbed several times by the suspect with the initials HH. The incident, which is believed to have been the result of a dispute due to the victim's careless parking, occurred in the Lembang area on Tuesday, August 16, morning.

As a result of his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 338 and/or Article 351 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
