JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) spoke about reports of alleged corruption by President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) son Gibran Rakabuming Raka by Jakarta State University (UNJ) lecturer Ubedilah Badrun. "So I apologize for what was reported at that time by people who were not state officials," said Ghufron.
"I think that's why until now the complaint is still being archived because there is no further support," he continued.
Previously, the lecturer who was also an activist from '98 Ubedilah Badrun reported that the two children of President Jokowi were suspected of corruption and money laundering.
"This report is related to allegations of corruption and/or money laundering (TPPU) in connection with the alleged KKN of business relations between the president's son and a business group suspected of being involved in forest fires," Ubedilah told reporters after reporting to the KPK.
