MEDAN - A housewife (IRT) with the initial D in Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra became a victim of robbery and rape. The moments of the robbery and rape allegedly committed by a man were caught on CCTV and went viral after being uploaded to social media.

The robbery occurred in the early hours of Saturday, August 6th. In the video, the perpetrator is seen using a sebo to enter the victim's house by dismantling the kitchen roof.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered material losses of up to tens of millions and was severely traumatized. The victim immediately reported the incident to the police.

The Head of Criminal Investigation at the Medan Police, Kompol Teuku Fatir Mustafa when confirmed confirmed the incident.

Kompol Fatir said that after receiving the report, the officers immediately carried out an investigation. After an investigation, the police were able to apprehend the perpetrator.

"Thank God (the perpetrator was arrested)," said Kompol Fatir confirmed by VOI, Monday, August 15.

However, Kompol Fatir has not been willing to disclose the arrest of the perpetrator in detail. The case will be immediately exposed by the Medan Police Chief.

Previously, the victim of DS disclosed the incident he experienced to reporters. In his explanation, he initially woke up after hearing a noise in front of his door.

When he woke up and wanted to check the situation, suddenly the perpetrator was waiting for the victim beside his bedroom door.

"At that time I came out and the perpetrator immediately covered my mouth while pointing a knife at my neck. At that time I was silent and the perpetrator threatened me if I spoke I would be killed," he said.

Then he was ordered to enter the room.

Because under the threat of the perpetrator, the victim complied. After that, the victim was raped while her hands were tied.
