Bharada E's Lawyer Is There A Directly Appointed Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Included In The Death Scenario Of Brigadier J?

JAKARTA - The National Police stated that Deolipa Yumara and Burhanuddin were no longer attorneys for Bharada RE alias Bharada E. Bharada E had revoked the power of attorney for his lawyer in the case of the murder of Brigadier J.

Andi explained that the two became Bharada E's advocate team based on recommendations from investigators after Andreas Nahot Silitonga, the first lawyer for the first-level enlisted, resigned.

Meanwhile, Andreas, said Andi, was appointed directly by Inspector General Ferdy Sambo (FS).

"The initial lawyer appointed by the suspect FS is for Bharada RE," said the Director of Criminal Investigation at the Criminal Investigation Department, Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi, to VOI, Friday, August 12.

When asked about the appointment of the first lawyer to accompany Bharada E, including one of the scenarios from Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Andi was reluctant to explain further.

So far, Andi said Bharada E had appointed another lawyer after revoking the power of attorney for his lawyers Deolipa Yumara and Burhanuddin.

"They are lawyers appointed by investigators to accompany Bharada RE in the examination," said Andi.

Bharada E, whose full name is Richard Eliezer, is scheduled to undergo an examination by Komnas HAM. The examination was carried out to determine whether there were human rights violations behind the case of Brigadier J.

Komnas HAM will visit the Mobile Brigade Headquarters in Depok to conduct an investigation. Besides Bharada E, on the same day, Komnas HAM will also examine Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
